🚆 Woodbrook DART Station – Now Open!

15 minute walk (1km) from Shanganagh Castle Estate. The walking route goes south through/past Shanganagh Park,
past Crinken Church, and reaches the station on the coastal railway line. Opened in August 2025 with direct services to Dublin city centre.

  • Walking Route:
    1. Leave Shanganagh Castle Estate and enter the main park path.
    2. Walk out from the estate entrance onto the wide footpath through Shanganagh Park, heading away from the Dublin Road side. Follow the main path across the park, passing Talbot House.
    3. Stay on the primary path as it curves gently through the open green space toward the centre of the park. Continue down past Tilly’s Coffee / Shanganagh Recycling Centre.
    4. The route bends and drops toward the service buildings — keep following the same path until it meets the straighter paved track. Turn onto the long straight track toward Woodbrook and walk directly to the station.
    5. Follow the track east across the fields and along the final straight approach until you reach Woodbrook DART Station.
  • Service Frequency: Up to 191 services daily (approx. every 10 minutes on weekdays)
  • Journey Time to City Centre: Approximately 40 minutes
  • Facilities: Bicycle parking, ticket machines, passenger shelters, accessible pedestrian bridge

🚌 Bus Routes: Regular Dublin Bus services along the N11 (Old Dublin Road), with Bus Connects corridor nearby.
